What makes us different to other home care providers?

We pride ourselves in our authenticity and ability to execute exemplary services to our participants. At Hayee Group Services, we understand that a decreased level of mobility requires an increase in external supports while still maintaining a level of autonomy. Therefore, it is our goal to enable maximum independence and comfort for participants within their own homes. The available funding model we offer is a Home Care Package.

What is a Home Care Package?

A Home Care Package is a government subsidised service to help older Australian’s live independently at home for longer. The types of support available through a Home Care Package include:

• Day to day assistance: help with housework, personal care, food preparation, transport, shopping, gardening
• Respite services
• Allied health services: occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, speech therapy
• Social support

Any elderly person who is having trouble managing at home may be eligible for a Home Care Package; this is examined through a My Aged Care assessment. How to access a Home Care Package:

There are three steps to accessing a Home Care Package:
Check your eligibility If you have home care needs and are considering accessing a government subsidised Home Care Package, you will first need to contact My Aged Care by calling 1800 200 422 or visit myagedcare.gov.au. If your care needs indicate that you might be eligible for a Home Care Package, My Aged Care will organise for an assessment team to complete a free assessment. This face-to-face assessment will identify what your home care needs are and confirm your eligibility to receive government-subsidised aged care services. My Aged Care will write to you to let you know the outcome of your assessment, the level of care you are eligible for and approved to receive, as well as an overview of that care. The range of care and services available under a Home Care Package includes, but is not limited to: Personal care including help dressing, showering or bathing Social support and companionship Nutrition and meal preparation Continence management Mobility and dexterity support to remain mobile Nursing care and other clinical services Allied health support including Podiatry and Physiotherapy Transport and personal assistance to help you get out and about i.e. appointments or groceries etc.

Weekly Estimation Hours Based on Levels:

• Level 1 - 2.5 to 3.5 hours
• Level 2 - 4 to 5.5 hours
• Level 3 - 8 to 12 hours
• Level 4 - 13 hours to 20 hours
